Title: A Not So Happy Anniversary

Log Line: A boyfriend goes crazy and kills his girlfriend after he discovers that she was cheating on him.
Treatment:
INT- Family Room Night (Tony's House)
The boyfriend, Tony, and girlfriend, Brittany, are hanging out together at the Tony’s house on a Friday night. They are sitting on the couch watching TV, the only source of light. They are laughing with each other. Then they begin to talk about their senior prom.
Brittany: "I can't wait until prom. We're gona have so much fun. I get to pick out a dress, do my hair, do my nails, and be pretty"
Tony: "Whatever, I can't wait till the after party"
Brittany: "All you care about is parties"
Tony: "Well, it's better than dancing"
Brittany: "We need to get your tux. It needs to match my dress"
Tony: "Prom's gona be amazing"
Brittany: "I know"
Tony leans in for a kiss slowly. It is passionate. Brittany then leans on Tony's shoulder as they watch tv. OTS as Brittany sends a text to a guy named Matt as she has an evil grin on her face. Fades to black.
INT- Bedroom Day (Tony's House)
The next day Tony calls Brittany. Flowers are in the background on the table as it is Tony and Brittany's anniversary.
Tony: "Hey, I made reservations at 6"
Brittany: "What are you talking about, I going out with the girls tonight"
Tony: "Do you know what tonight is?
Brittany: "Uh, Saturday?
Tony: "Oh, alright, nevermind. Have fun."
Brittany: "K, love you"
Tony:"Bye"
Tony loves his girlfriend so he doesn’t question her. He leaves his house and drives away.
INT- Den/Computer Room Day (Anthony's House)
Tony pulls up to his friend's houses. His friends Matt, Anthony, and Nigel are talking about football before he enters the room. The Niners game is on and they are sitting on the couch.
Anthony: "Screw that, the 49ers are gona make the playoffs this year"
Matt: "Not even, they don't have a consistent passing game"
Nigel (at same time as Matt): "It's all about the Vikings"
Tony enters the room
All say: "Tony"
Anthony: "Eh, you goin to Matt's party tonight?"
Tony: "No, I have something special planned."
Matt: "You loser, you just wanna bail on us to hang out with ur girl"
Tony: "You guys are just gona black out anyway. At least I will remember wat I did."
Nigel: "Thats true"
They all divert their attention to the game as the Niners score a touchdown. Fades to black.
EXT- Car and Street Night
Fades in. The computer room is dark as it is night time.
Tony: "Alrite, im out"
All say: "See ya"
The boy leaves his friend’s house. He gets into his car. Shadows cover Tony's eyes as he drives to his girlfriends house. He then drives to his girlfriend’s house. He turns onto the street where she lives and her car is gone. Her house is dark as no lights are on. He gets out of the car and slowly walks to the front door. He knocks but no one answers.
He says to himself: "I guess I'll go to Matt's party"
Tony gets back into his car and heads to Matt's party.
INT- House Night (Matt's House)
Tony shows up to the party as he opens the door he says wats up to his friends and they try to keep him away from the living room. He sees his girlfriend with Matt. There is a look of shock on his face. Tony races over to Matt and picks him off of the couch. They take it outside. Brittany follows them outside. Matt and Tony's friends come outside too.
Tony: "Why?"
Matt: "Cuz i can"
Tony: "But ur my best friend"
Matt: "And.."
Brittany is in background watching. Tony punches Matt as he falls to the. The girlfriend screams and pleads them stop fighting. Matt gets up as Tony chases him into the street behind some cars. Brittany hears Matt scream and then a silence. Tony slowly comes out from behind the cars with no sign of Matt. He slowly walks towards his girlfriend.
Tony: "Get in the car"
Brittany gets into the car as they drive away. Fades to black.
EXT- Street Night
Fades in. The car speeds away. Behind where the car was is a bush. One of Brittany's leg is sticking out the bush. There is blood on it.

Great story, it has the element of betraial, which is one of the element of film noir. The diagloue is short and condense, straight into the point. One question on the fighting part at the end of the treatment. Did Matt fall on something or he just falls on the ground. and i like the ending of the treatment, that it showed Brittany was killed without a lot of detail. Audience can just get a sense of it by the leg that is sticking out the bush...
