1. How does the film start at a dramatic moment in the middle of the
drama?
The dramatic theme throughout the film is betrayal. Brittany is the
strong femme fatale who plays Tony. Tony gets betrayed by Brittany
as she cheats on him for another guy that she has control over.
2. What terrific scene will open, and what memorable scene will end
the film?
The film starts establishing Tony's strong love and connection for
Brittany. This starts the film off being dramatic. This also sets Tony
up for being heart broken after all the love and commitment he has
given to Brittany. It ends in Tony being betrayed by Brittany who is
a strong female character. She has Matt in check mode also as she
has him beat Tony up. It ends as she has complete control of the
men in her life.
3. What’s my character’s attitude and position in the events?
Tony's attitude is innocent. He lets Brittany call the shots. He is a
little bit passive and the good guy. He has extreme passion for his
girlfriend Brittany. Brittany is the femme fatale as stated earlier.
She is strong and dominates men in her relationships. Matt is one
of Tony's friends who also betrays him for Brittany. He is also
dominated by Brittany.
4. How do I introduce my character? If my character isn’t central to
the action, what do they witness that is?
My characters are introduced as I have stated in the previous
questions.
5. How can I help the audience discover what is happening, rather
than just telling them everything?
Showing Tony's passion for Brittany and his passiveness allows the
audience to realize that he is the good guy who experiences
unfortunate events. Showing Brittany boss her men around and
betray them to get what she wants reveals to the audience that she
is a strong female. Giving little hints the Brittany is betraying Tony and
that he is clueless is an example of dramatic irony in which the
audiences knows that Tony is set up for failure, but he doesn't know.
6. How can I reduce things to a minimum, but still have an impact?
I need to use less dialogue. Especially since my actors will not be
that good, stylistic dialogue can lessen the impact. But if that was
kept to a minimum andmore action was shot, the impact would be
greater.
